Every trip is unique! Trip emphases vary according to our destination and the gifts of our team. Participation in a Petros Network trip is determined by the outreach emphasis of the trip and is on a first-come-first-serve basis.

During our trips we engage in various ministry opportunities such as:
  • Bible and Theology Training
  • Agriculture Training and Practical Farming Activities
  • Women's Empowerment Training and Groups
  • Children's Feeding Initiative Activities
  • Organizational Development
  • Trauma Training and Care
  • Children's Sports
Join a Tour: You can join us for an entire tour that includes multiple locations or apply for one location only. Through the top link "Opportunities" you can view each location site as well as combination tours. During a tour of multiple locations, we typically run the same programs at each site, depending upon the gifts of our team. Participants enjoy visiting multiple sites as airfare is the most significant expense for a trip. Please take a look at Combo Trips in our Opportunities.

Trip Costs: The listed price represents Ground Fees, which form the base cost of the mission trip. The overall expense comprises Ground Fees + Airfare. The Airfare cost fluctuates and will be finalized during the booking process, with Petros Network managing all participant flight arrangements. The Ground Fees encompass various aspects, including shared hotel accommodation. If you prefer a single room, an additional fee applies. Please indicate your preference for a single room when submitting your application. Additionally, Ground Fees cover in-country transportation, meals, bottled water, accommodations (double occupancy), short-term travel insurance, tips, transfer fees, a translator, and local support personnel for ministry assistance. We aim to streamline the process, ensuring a straightforward experience for those undertaking a short-term mission trip to Africa. Excluded from the overall cost are expenses such as passport fees, vaccinations, medications, visa fees, electrical adapters, trip cancellation insurance, potential COVID tests, and spending money.

Trip Deposit: Applying for a trip is free, but once approved, you will be asked to submit a $375 non-refundable deposit to secure your spot. This allows us to begin booking your airfare and accommodations. Once you are approved for a trip, don't delay in submitting your deposit as spots are limited!

Trip Payment Schedule:
Application Submission: $375 trip deposit due to secure your spot
90 Days before the trip: $1,000 due
