Every trip is unique! Trip emphases vary according to our destination and the gifts of our team. Participation in a Petros Network trip is determined by the outreach emphasis of the trip and is on a first-come-first-serve basis.During our trips we engage in various ministry opportunities such as:

Trip Cost:
The published price is for double occupancy Ground Fees ONLY — airfare is NOT included yet.
Ground Fees cover your in-country expenses such as: lodging, meals, ground transportation, tips, translators, international medical insurance, ministry support, and in-country flights.
Your total trip cost = Ground Fees + Airfare.
Airfare is booked later and added to your total once flights are confirmed. Most international airfare typically ranges between $1,900–$2,300, depending on your departure city and travel dates. Petros Network coordinates flight bookings unless otherwise noted.
Single-room accommodations are available upon request for an additional cost.

- Required vaccinations and medications
- Visa fees
- Trip cancellation insurance
Trip Deposit: Applying for a trip is free, but once approved, you will be asked to submit a $375 non-refundable deposit to secure your spot. This allows us to begin booking your airfare and accommodations. Once you are approved for a trip, don't delay in submitting your deposit as spots are limited!
Trip Payment Schedule:
- Upon Application Approval: A $375 deposit is due to secure your spot.
- 90 Days Before Departure: 50% of total trip funding is due.
- 60 Days Before Departure: 80% of total trip funding is due.
- 45 Days Before Departure: 100% of trip funding must be received.

Requirements
Prerequisites
- Participants must complete an application.
- Once approved submit a $375 non-refundable deposit to secure their spot. Deposits are tax-deductible and will be deducted from your total balance.
- To travel to Africa, it is imperative to possess a valid U.S. passport. Ensuring the validity of your passport involves several key points. Firstly, your passport should accurately display your full legal name. If your name has undergone any changes, the name on record with the Social Security office must align with the name on your passport. Additionally, your passport must contain a minimum of 3 blank pages to accommodate visa requirements. Lastly, the passport should have a validity period extending at least 6 months beyond the departure date to meet the necessary travel regulations.
- Obtain a yellow fever vaccination. Proof of yellow fever vaccination must travel with you.

Restrictions
- Minors must complete additional documentation and provide a guardian signature.
Preparation
- Spend time in prayer.
- Manage your passport.
- Before departure, participants must complete and submit all Petros Network's required travel documentation which will be emailed to you for electronic signature.
- Check with your medical professional to ensure you have all required immunizations for entry into the visiting country, including a yellow vaccination card. You can personally review vaccination-related entry requirements and recommendations for each country on the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website at https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel.
- Apply for an e-visa for each country you are traveling to. Typically, applicants must supply a digital copy of the bio-data page of their passport. They must also provide a passport-size photo, a yellow fever vaccination certificate, and a current email address to obtain a standard single-entry tourist Visa.
